Bonanza Casino announced as the title sponsor for the newly named ‘Bonanza Casino Nevada Twilight Classic’

RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada’s cross country
team announced today that the Bonanza Casino is set to be the title
sponsor for the newly named ‘Bonanza Casino Nevada Twilight Classic’.
This meet is the season opener for Nevada and will be the debut of their
first men’s team in 25 years.
The meet attracts teams and schools from around Nevada to compete at
Mira Loma Park in east Reno. This year, the meet will be held on August
30 starting with the eighth grade and under boys and girls at 5:40 p.m. ,
the college men’s race at 7:55 p.m., the college women’s race at 8:35
p.m. and ending with high school varsity races at 9:20 p.m.
Bonanza Casino is a large supporter of the Prostate Cancer Foundation
and hopes to bring awareness to the cause by partnering with the Wolf
Pack cross country team. “Supporting the University as well as helping
fight Prostate Cancer is an absolute win/win for all involved”, said
Bonanza Casino General Manager, Ryan Sheltra.
According to the Prostate Cancer foundation, it’s estimated that nearly
165,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year. Men over
the age of 50 are much more likely to be effected by prostate cancer
with a new case diagnosed every 3.2 minutes. To learn more about
